Scouts SA 2016 AGM

AGM Information and BEC Nominations

The Branch Executive Committee (BEC) extend an invitation to all members to attend the Scout Association of Australia (SA Branch) Annual General Meeting to be held on Friday July 22 in the Scout Deck at Titanium Security Arena at 7pm (link to invitation)


2016 AGM

The meeting is catered with finger food and refreshments at no cost.

Attendees were required to RSVP by 1st July. 

If you wish to attend and haven't RSVP'd please email call 8130 6000 as we may still be able to cater (food and beverage) for you.

The 2015-2016 Annual Report was tabled and approved by members at the AGM on 22 July 2016.

Nominations for Branch Executive Committee

At this AGM there are 4 positions vacant for election for a two year term. These positions are the President, 1 Adult Leader, 1 Supporting Member and 1 Young Adult as defined in our constitution,

An A9 Branch Executive Nomination Form is available here. Nominations for these positions must be received at Scout HQ by 5pm Friday 3 June 2016.



Nominations for Life Membership

The Branch may confer Membership of the Branch for life upon any person who has given Distinguished Service to the Movement in South Australia. Life Members are appointed at the Annual General Meeting following recommendation by the Branch Executive Committee.
Nominations for the Life Membership have closed for 2016.

Country Members


A postal voting system exists whereby country members of Branch whose permanent residential address is outside a 100 kilometre radius of the Adelaide GPO, may apply to register a postal vote for election of office bearers if they will not be attending the Annual General Meeting.  Any voting member of Branch who falls into the above category (see attached map) may apply for a postal voting by completing the attached  "Application to Register a Postal Vote" and returning the form to HQ by 5pm on 17 June 2016.
