ANZAC Day March 2019

Registration of Interest

The R.S.L. has again asked Scouts SA for assistance with the Anzac Day March through Adelaide.  The organisers have asked for 90 Scouts to carry the Unit Identification signs for the various Units taking part in the March.

As the R.S.L. has an age policy on officials taking part in the March we cannot accept Joeys or Cubs.

Scouts do not have to be accompanied by a leader from their Group.  We have sufficient leaders on hand in the City.  Scouts are to report to the Marshals in Scout Uniform on North Tce in front of the SA Museum at 8am.  They can be collected after the March at the Scout Gazebo in Sir Edwin Smith Ave., opposite Pennington Tce.

Scouts MUST wear correct uniform.  Stone or bone coloured trousers, and dark even coloured shoes.  Jeans or camouflaged trousers will not be permitted.  Scouts not correctly attired will not be able to take part.  If rain is threatened it is suggested the Scouts carry a clear plastic poncho with them.

As the March is during school holiday time do not use school address emails unless they can be accessed during the holidays.

Interested Scouts and Venturers are asked to send an email to:

And supply the following details

Name of Scout:

Scout Group:

Phone number by which we can contact parents or carers during the March:

We cannot accept block bookings from Groups, Scouts must apply as individuals.

Rovers and Leaders may apply and will be tasked if we have a shortfall of Scouts and Venturers.  They may also help with general supervision and escorting Scouts to the various Units.
