Scouts Australia (SA Branch) would like to recognise the outstanding achievement and contributions to the Scouting Movement, of Leaders and Supporters of Scouting who have been awarded Adult Recognition Awards on 1 August.
Scouts SA is proud to launch an exciting new Community Service for South Australians with an online program FREE FUN – Home Delivered. No-one knows action packed fun and interactivity like Scouts and this first for the world’s largest youth organisation comes at the perfect time for families.
Aimed at kids aged 4-11 and their families, FREE FUN – Home Delivered will offer via email, a series of monthly fun indoor and outdoor activities and challenges. Whilst some will be fully ‘kid ready’, others will enable parents and children to undertake tasks together and further enjoy that priceless time they spent with each other during COVID restrictions.
FREE FUN activities whilst not being a replica of the vast array of indoor and outdoor activities undertaken by those enrolled in Scouts, will offer similar projects that, like Scouting, will bring out the ability of the kids to challenge themselves, build resilience, learn new skills and most of all – have fun!
To have FREE FUN - Home Delivered sent to your inbox, simply register at www.freefun.com.au and await a brightly coloured fun looking email or log on to the FREE FUN website with your registration details.

Scouts SA Chief Commissioner Jan Turbill said
“FREE FUN – Home Delivered is specifically designed for young people to help reinforce, connectivity to the world around them with a focus on personal achievement and having FUN!
We’ve seen a shift in the way many kids and families engage and connect during these past months and know many are keen to continue what they’ve found to be a rewarding experience. FREE FUN is designed to deliver, enable and further develop that connectivity and engagement.
FREE FUN is not the same experience as those that are members of Scouts enjoy, we have simply used our learned skills and knowledge library to create a collection of great content that we will be sharing freely with our FREE FUN subscribers.
Active and engaged children learn skills and build healthy character traits by default which can only be a positive outcome for themselves, their families and the community. Please come and enjoy free fun”
